LESZEK WIŚNIEWSKI was born on February 17th, 1953 in Poznan, Poland. From 1973 - 1978 he studied painting and graphic art at PWSSP in Poznan. During the time he was working as a freelance illustrator for different Polish magazines (1976 - 1978) and held several exhibitions in Poland.
He moved to Vienna at the beginning of the eighties where he was Art Director at Doyle Dane Bernbach advertising before going back to freelancing in 1982. Currently he is concentrating on illustrations for magazines (Trend Magazin, The New York Times, Newsweek, Bestseller, Gesundheits Magazin, Playboy, Penthouse), as well as on poster design for cultural events and painting.
His works have been exhibited all over the world with over 180 group and individual exhibitions in many countries across several continents such as: Europe, North America, South America and Asia.
